Dr. Susan Sattler is no longer at this veterinary practice, she retired quite a few years back. However some of her employees still are like Leigh. We came today to drop off our beautiful kitty Precious, who crossed over the Rainbow Bridge last night. We are heartbroken but we know she is in good hands where she will be cremated and her remains will be given back to us in a sweet urn. Thank you for being so kind to us -- take care of Precious for us pls, this one last time. Thank you.
My 8 year old Yorkie Crested had been battling with congestive heart failure went into kidney failure. His vet (I won't name due to poor care) wanted to put him down immediately because they would be closed the next day. They did offer medication that may help at a cost of $75 for 2 days. We loved our fur baby so we elected to take the medication hoping it would help him. Sadly it did not. The next day our dog needed to be put down because we could not bear to see him suffer. We called Advanced Veterinary Care and they gave us the information and said they could do it that day. Through this very difficult time they were very professional and informed us step by step what was being done and how he would respond. We were with him every minute through the process and every staff member there that day was wonderful. I highly recommend Advanced veterinary care for your pet care needs.
I was concerned when the practice was sold & Dr. Sattler left, but most of the fantastic staff remains the same. We started w/Dr Sell who took care of my elder chihuahua, Bandita, with malignant jaw growth. The compassion, education and care couldn't have been better. My lil mutt Jack, had Dr Jack. She was always kind & very gentle building a rapport with him. What vet do you know that would do a complimentary sanitary clip where the groomer lacked? Then we had Dr Highbrown when his reg vet was off. She quickly diagnosed him with Addisons Disease and he's on the road to recovery . She took her time to explain everything in detail, they called us at home to see how we we doing. Leigh at the desk has ALWAYS made sure we got what we needed ASAP. Vet assts/techs Dara, Jessica and Sarah treat my dog as if he were their own and provide emotional support when needed. This is one caring, knowledgeable, empathetic, and compassionate team. I'm sorry for those who didn't have a good experience. In the transition they at have had some issues getting settled but it didn't affect our care. Oh, and the prices seem very reasonable to me. Actually lower than when it was privately owned.
