Dr. Powell's expertise and care are exemplary; however, the experience at the office is impacted by the unprofessional and rude behavior of the receptionist, Marta. Unfortunately, her demeanor lacks friendliness and professionalism, every time I visited this office !!! and there have been concerns regarding differential treatment based on patient ethnicity, which is unacceptable. This detracts from the overall positive experience of the doctor's exceptional service.
Dr. Brett Murray is my children’s pediatrician. Hands down the best pediatrician I have had for my kids! He goes above and beyond to offer the best care. If you guys are looking for a pediatrician Dr. Brett Murray is the one! Now I wish my Primary Dr worked the same way, but unfortunately she does not and she also works in the same office. ?
I had a new patient appointment scheduled this morning. Arrived at the office and was told my appointment was cancelled by AutoBox. I never received a phone call or a text confirming the appointment and I did have the correct phone number in the system. UF Health is way too automated and does not show patient concern.***UPDATE***The office manager reached out to me to apologize for the mistake which helped so I am increasing this to 3 stars. My feedback to them was to not have AutoBox automatically cancel an appointment and that they should be using real human beings to reach out customers before cancelling if there are concerns.
