Handy.com is a borderline scam. I've attempted to book a Handy "Pro" several times. Handy charges you up front, books your appointment then cancels your appointment 1/2 hour before the appointment time. They then, reschedule the appointment without your consent & the "Pro" would "not show up to work the day of your appointment again. It gets better, I requested a refund after missing 2 days of work & they gave me a 3 hour runaround on the phone, before they said they would refund me in 5 business days. After 5 days, they refunded only part of the amount I paid them for the job. DO NOT USE HANDY.COM. They are running a scam & should be investigated

I scheduled Handy to clean my home before guest arrived. On June 19th they confirmed the cleaning service for the 21 at 12:30. At 10am on the 21st they reconfirmed my appointment. At 12pm they text me and cancelled my appointment due to someone calling out of work. They rescheduled for the 23rd. My guest were arriving the evening of the 22nd. I rescheduled for the afternoon of the 22nd. They were due at noon. At 10:14 they confirmed my appointment via text. No one ever showed up. At 1:18 I called them and cancelled because of a no show. They charged me$99.00 for cancelling. Don't trust this company. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Scheduled a ceiling fan installation. First they changed the appointment, and then they didn't show up. I texted the installer twice, no response. The company told me the installer was not notified, and offered to do the install over a week later. Nope.
