I called about 9 am about a bathroom tub faucet leak. He said he was going to be in our neighborhood and would be there before noon. He arrived about 11 am.After the repair, he told us that faucet packing had been leaking and instead of draining into the tub it was draining back toward the wall. This made sense as the carpet on the other side of the wall was damp sometimes. He said that he corrected that problem.He said that even though the faucet was very old the manufacturer was probably the only one the supplied a washer-less insert.
