PTSDA Karate is a martial arts school every family should check out and consider. Founder and instructor Master DuFour, his wife, and their team teach the traditional martial art of Tang Soo Do in a safe, disciplined, but also extremely enjoyable environment! This karate school has been a staple in Pensacola for many years and flourished through hard seasons in our community, from hurricanes to COVID, adapting and continuing to serve. You will see young children through adults each night training and learning in classes, and my family has personally benefitted greatly by the wonderful instruction for years.Each class provides not only an excellent work out, high caliber martial arts instruction, but also teaches weekly lessons on character that help in all facets of life. In the current craze of MMA and even the Cobra Kai approaches, this sets them apart because students are challenged in all areas, and not only know self defense and world class karate skills but the appropriate application of them.PTSDA is a great and professional karate school where everything is done with excellence, yet with a family feel. Five stars for sure!

We can not say enough good things about PTSDA Karate! The instructors are friendly, supportive and encouraging. The emotional and mental growth - and strength! - that have developed in my daughter over the last 3 years is simply amazing! Master Dufour and all of his staff are true good role models for anyone!
