I love working out with Barbara. Be it at her studio, or since the pandemic, we have been doing Virtual classes. Virtual has been great because the workouts are tailored for me and I don't think we have done any workout twice. I'm always amazed what we can do be it Aerobics, pilates mat exercises, kangoo, and using very little equipment. What have I learned during the pandemic is that it's still important to exercise. Private lessons with Barbara have always lifted me mentally and physically. I feel my spine and core are more stabilized and stronger. My joints feel looser and I generally feel balanced. WOW! My physician recommended "Private Pilates" to help me rebound, following a torn hip tendon repair 7 months prior. After only 3 sessions with Barbara, my nagging limp and periodic soreness were virtually gone! She keenly focuses on perfect positioning and tailors exercises to your particular needs, all the while strengthening your core. You don't even realize your overall health and outlook (and in my case weight loss) are improving every time you go! She's also a delightful person. Thumbs up!

Barbara is a great Pilates instructor and I would definitely recommend her! We’ve been working together for almost 2 years and the lower back pain I had before starting Pilates went away after 5 sessions. She’ll push you to do your best and at the same time respect your body limits and make sure you’re doing the correct form.
