“I’m not even sure where to begin but I’ll start with this.. I was highly recommended by my sister & the moment I walked in to Dr. Alexander’s office, my life changed forever. Prior to seeing him, I was suffering with a lot of anxiety and depression due to my injuries. I have a L4 and L5.. there were moments where I couldn’t sit down for more than 2 minutes and would wake up in the middle of the night with excruciating back pain. I don’t want surgery and PT did not work for me. This is the FIRST AND ONLY DOCTOR that actually took the time to get to know me and what I was going through and develop the best plan of action for treatment. The only. He spoke with me for about 20-30 min prior to my first adjustment and made me feel extremely comfortable. When I tell you that I’m a completely different person from when I first started seeing him, you wouldn’t believe the transformation. I’m back to my normal self and majority of the time, pain FREE! I absolutely love him and his mom! She’s the sweetest! They’re very caring, professional and want what’s best for you. I felt so much better not only physically, but mentally as well since he’s been treating me. Look no further if you have any doubts.. he’s the one. Thank you for all you’ve done for me doc!“

“I don’t know if I have the words to articulate how much this place means to me but I’ll give it a shot. My son Nixon has been going here since he was 2 and now he’s 6. He was diagnosed with Autism and a universal developmental delay. The night and day difference from where he was to where he is now is astonishing. When we brought him in he wasn’t responding to his name, wasn’t speaking, very basic motor skills and movement. Now he’s speaking so much, very responsive, running up and down jumping from couches at home. He’s coloring, cutting, writing and drawing. It’s amazing how far he’s come and I’m so thankful for this place. Let me dive a little deeper.

The place itself is very clean. It’s very colorful and there is so much for the kids to do. There is an open area/gym that has a ball pit, swings, obstacle coarse for kids mostly for PT. There are also tables there for the kids to practice their motor skills. Also, there are individual rooms for Speech which is perfect for my son because he is easily distracted. I believe they also do speech in the gym as well. Not sure, don’t quote me.

The front desk/office
Annie is incredible. She goes above and beyond for you. If you miss a day or if the therapist is out she will reschedule for you. They are very accommodating. She’s very helpful and knowledgeable and great with the kids and they love her back. Bernie, the owner is very kind and friendly. The guy runs a tight ship.

The Therapists
I don’t even know where to begin. These are some of the best people I’ve ever met in my entire life. They’re so hard-working, consistent, patient, thoughtful, kind, genuine and (most importantly)great with the kids. They all have great attitudes and motherly instincts. Nixon has Speech, Occupational, and Physical Therapy. For Speech, he sees Ana Maria, Ashley, Meagan, and Karla. These are the ladies I speak to the most because that’s the area I had the most concern with. They have gone above and beyond my expectations. They have been there for all the lows and the highs. I have had some bad days(life as a parent with a child with autism) and they were there for me when honestly they didn’t need to. I’m forever grateful to them. For Occupational, he sees Angie, Sara, and Nicole. It’s insane how Nixon neatly writes and colors now. He lo-key colors better than my 10 year old. For Physical Therapy, he sees Marie and Marin. Marin is actually Nixon’s favorite person in the entire world. It would honestly make your heart melt with how happy she makes him. The bond they have is just so perfect. He loves her so so much. I could literally go on for another 5 paragraphs on how incredible these ladies are. Each one deserves a paragraph to themselves. Honestly, you’d be lucky to have your child have any one of these therapists. They’re all phenomenal.

With that being said, we love this place. I don’t know where Nixon would be without them. It’s probably his favorite place to be and honestly it’s the one time where I don’t have to worry. He’s in the safest hands possible and I can’t tell you how good that feels. They changed his life, they changed my life, and I think they will do the same for you. I highly recommend this place. This place is more than just a business/service, it’s family!“

I had to stop here to leave my review hoping it guides families in need of help. I have over 11 years of experience in the field, working PPECs in broward and Miami dade counties ( I have been around and I’ve seen more than what I wanted to see). First Kids PPEC - Coral way is a home away from home for all children. Staff members and management are all passionate and motivated individuals working with our children to make a difference in our community. This PPEC is child oriented, professional, and cohesive. “Been coming here twice a week for several weeks due to a broken leg. It’s a long road to recovery, however Paola has been absolutely wonderful and has helped me make great progress with my particularly bad break. She really knows her stuff and has not only helped me with the sessions here but has taught me what to do at home as well. The soft tissue massages are brutal but she has managed to break up almost all the knots in the muscles. I’m very grateful to have found this place. Furthermore the 2 people that work in the front are always very pleasant and prompt.“

“It’s difficult to exercise when you’re in constant pain but this staff makes it so doable! There is always a great energy in the room and I genuinely enjoy going to PT. My therapists, Natalie and Luis, are absolute sweethearts and I can tell they really care about the progress of all their patients. They make me feel very comfortable and safe that I won’t injure my back further. They are happy to explain and answer any questions I may have. Everyone at Progressive is a joy to be around. The front desk staff are so kind and the owner, Greg, makes sure to say hello to everyone and ask how they’re doing. Today, Greg offered to put me on a specific bed where I could watch the Olympics while I did some stretches! What a kind and thoughtful staff! My back is feeling great, I highly recommend progressive therapy center :)“
