For simple, straight forward repairs at a very good price he is fine: re-gluing a sole, adding rubber soles. For anything more involved, the level of workmanship/materials is lacking. For example: I had a slouchy leather handbag with leather straps, where the inside filling of the leather straps had broken (from the inside). He completely replaced the entire handles but with very stiff faux leather, with a strong chemical smell and very uncomfortable and scratchy to carry. I ended up donating the bag. Not a huge loss for me as the bag was over 10 years old.

I've never had a problem with Mr. Giraldo! His prices are more than reasonable, time is always his- as to be expected, and his work is better than expected. He's a nice guy... and more than reasonably priced...

I give this man a 5 start because he deserves it! He does a wonderful job fixing shoes, adding and taking off soles/heels. I have to have all my shoes fixed due to scoliosis, so he either adds to one shoe or cuts on the other. His work is very profesional and half of the price that is being asked here in Wellington at Woodies! You can walk in his store/shop and see the work he does making his own sandals. Highly recommended.
