“In June my husband and I had an 8 day trip to Costa Rica planned and I was so stressed out about leaving our 10 month old puppy for the trip. We found Applied Canine Concepts and after our initial meeting with Gina and Fabian we knew we would be leaving him in the best care possible. We had been working with him on basic obedience since day one and wanted him to improve on his obedience while we were away. He qualified for the golden child training and boarding with our main problem area being pulling on leash whether it be from excitement, wanting to play with other dogs and people etc. He worked mostly with Riley during the time we were away and when we got back I was extremely happy with his results!<br><br>3 months later and consistent upkeep on Riley’s training instructions and I can take him just about anywhere with peace of mind. We’ve had multiple encounters with untrained off leash dogs where he showed his skills and obedience even in situations where due to lack of owner responsibility I expected him not to.<br><br>I know that he had the best care/ training possible and am glad we have a place for him to improve when we go on trips that he can’t join us on.<br><br>Gina and Fabian are the real deal and truly care about caring for and giving your dog the best experience possible. They gave me the ability to enjoy our trip worry free and come home to a pup that has continued to progress on what they taught him since we picked him up ?“
