“Unique Flooring and Design did a fantastic job replacing old linoleum with modern tile flooring in our laundry room, adjoining hallway and three bathrooms. Owner Nelson Carballea is very much a professional gentleman. He listened skillfully to our needs and desires and customized a strategy to accommodate our goals. Seeing the beautiful tile products available in his store encouraged us to dust off an 11-year old project and consider doing business with his company. He allowed us to take tile samples home for review and never pressured us to commit a purchase. The entire process from beginning to end pleasantly exceeded expectations. We scheduled an estimate, which he personally accomplished and returned with a very reasonable offer. Scheduling was easy and quick; materials and installers were available within a week. Our prep was minimal, because installers (led by Yasnioby R.) removed and replaced washer, dryer and toilets with care and precision. Installation was expert and professional; tile layout was well planned and level throughout, even securing the “squeaky” upstairs subfloor before laying the tile. Installers were very respectful of our home and “worked clean” never leaving us feeling like we were in the middle of a construction zone. The project has been transformative; it renewed and amplified the beauty of those spaces.
