“I went to Doctor Stephenson for a routine eye exam, concerned that I had cateracts. It turned out that I not only had cateracts, but my vision both near and far was poor. Doctor Stephenson removed the cateracts and fixed my vision with "Panoptic" lenses. I now have not only perfect vision, but fabulous vision thanks to Dr. Stephenson and her excellent team at Saint Andrews in Venice. Her office staff are wonderful too. I'm a glaucoma suspect, which concerns me greatly, but I have complete confidence in her ability to monitor the health of my eyes.Her staff is wonderful and she has the latest, state of the art equipment. They’re extremely thorough and you never feel rushed. They’re polite, but friendly. No, “Hi Sweetie” or “What’s up?”Then Dr Strom, who is also a highly skilled surgeon and well respected in his field, will greet you, with just the same amount, if not more, respect and genuine care and concern.I was experiencing “floaters” in both eyes and I didn’t realize the possible severity they could cause. Dr. Strom was able to see me right away. He explained clearly in non medical jargon to be absolutely certain I’d understand what was happening. He also allayed my fears when my vision was diagnosed to not be in any imminent harm.After checking out by the before mentioned incredible staff, I always leave happy and feeling positive. The whole experience is streamlined and efficient. I no longer feel seeing my ophthalmologist (or eye doctor) is a chore!“

“All I can say is that I was truly blown away today at JCPenney Optical. I recently moved from California and realized I was out of contacts and in desperate need of a new pair today -- it being Saturday, I realized it would be hard to get in, as I needed a new prescription on top of needing contacts. Tanya answered the phone when I called, was such a friendly voice on the other end, and said she would talk to the doctor to see what they could do, though their schedule was full. Less than 15 minutes later I get a call back, and Tanya said the doctor would get me in. Just, WOW. I cannot tell you how grateful I was to find not only such a wonderful new eye doctor, but two people who are great and truly love their job, because it showed in every way. Dr. Rivero gave me such good advice, and in years of wearing contacts, told me things I had never heard before and that was so helpful. Tanya was such a warm and friendly face to see right when you walk in and right when you leave, tying everything together beautifully.Thank you to the team at JCPenney -- I am truly thankful I found you today and will be sure to tell everyone I meet how wonderful my experience was. “Been going there since they were at their old location a bit further south from where they are now. Saw both Dr.'s and now just see Dr Carol. She has taken great care of me. I only need very slight correction to read and nothing for longer distance. They are the only game in town!“
