“Martha and I used to be neighbors; I was aware that she is a Chinese doctor but only recently used her services. Firstly, her offices are so impeccable and peaceful. Secondly, Martha studied with both city Chinese doctors and rural ones (Shaolin) so she can prescribe the best course of action for your needs. I am certain that had I seen a Western doctor for this particular ailment, I would have been prescribed surgery. “For 2 years I suffered from severe ulcerative colitis. For the first year I was placed on traditional western medications. The second year I was prescribed an additional infusion. This lasted another year with no significant improvement. I then made an appointment to see Dr. Liang. After about 20 minutes of discussing my condition I was face up on a table with approximately 30 needles in me. Dr. Liang immediately understood my condition and planned a course of treatment that included acupuncture and herbs. After 3 months I have had significant improvements. “Dr. Cao treated my very severe case of Bell's Palsy. During the first 3 months of my Bell's Palsy, before I started seeing her, I had very little improvement (see photos below). My doctor's office recommended her and I had significant improvement after the first session! And then additional improvement after 2nd session. My case was bad, my right eye would not close completely and it couldn't blink at all. I'm also pretty old and did not get treatment right away. All of those meant it would take longer to treat. After seeing her for 3 months I am so much better I can't believe it. It's life changing! My eye now closes completely and it partially blinks. My smile is almost back to normal. I am so thankful that she was able to treat me with electro-acupuncture and Chinese herbs. If I hadn't gone to her I would probably be in that 1/3 group of Bells Palsy people who do not recover. Her treatments made all the difference! I'm not sure I can add captions to photos so here is what they represent: first photo is how my mouth looked smiling the first week I had Bell's Palsy. Next is a photo 3 months later which shows that there was only a very small amount of improvement in my mouth. FYI, my eye had almost no improvement in that first 3 months. The third photo, which was just a day later, was after my first session with Dr. Cao. It's an amazing improvement and all in one day! The last photo is the next day after my 2nd session with Dr. Cao. Again, improvement in just one day! Over the next three months the improvement were more incremental, but each week I could see improvements and thankfully my eye is so much better! FYI, during the Bells Palsy treatment she also treated me for some hip and toe pain and that was great and very effective. Just remember the difference between the 2nd and 3rd photo is just ONE acupuncture session! If one session can make that big of a change in something as severe as facial paralysis I'm sure it can make those big changes in other issues.“
