Greenwood Cemetery

Greenwood Cemetery is a well-maintained and historical resting place located in the heart of Orlando. This oldest cemetery in the area, built in the 1800s, is large and impressive. Notable residents include veterans, T.G. Lee the dairy farmer, several former mayors, baseball player Joe Tinker, a famous botanist, and babies buried in the "baby land" graves. Many patients from the Sunland TB hospital are also buried here. The cemetery offers moonlight walking tours for those interested in learning more about its notable figures.
