Be careful of allowing for additional treatment. This was my first (and only) appointment at Advanced Dental Care. I was asked if I wanted a cancer screening as well. My response, "Only if my insurance will pay for it." A couple minutes later, they returned saying that my insurance will pay for it. A month later I get a bill in the mail because my insurance did not approve to pay for it. I appealed with my insurance and they still will not pay it. Now I must pay the bill as I'm being threatened that my account will be turned over to collection agency with an additional 25% fee of the balance. Additionally, I was not able to be seen for over 4 months and then at my appointment I had to wait 2+ hours after my appointment time to finally be seen. The staff seemed friendly but also bias. I do not recommend this dentist office!
I took my son here as a new patient. At every other dentist that we've ever visited the ExRay cleaning and fluoride treatment are done in one visit. Well not at this office. They did the ExRay but needed to schedule a second appointment for the rest and I wasn't told this when I booked this appointment three weeks ago. Had I been told I would have chosen another dentist. I guess they don't realize that we have jobs too and time off is required to keep these appointments. Then there were no apologies for wasting my time. I won't be going back to this dentist!. In response to your reply. There was no " misinterpretation " on my part. I stated facts in my review. A professional reply would have included "I'm sorry you felt that way" or we understand that our patients time is valuable not an insinuation that my review was somehow not what it seemed . Unbelievable!
My experience was fine overall when getting work done, however I had an appointment scheduled for my permanent crowns a few weeks later and when I went in for my 12:00 appointment I waited for about 20 minutes before being called up. When I was called up to the desk I was told the crowns had yet to arrive from the lab. She asked me to come back the following day. I told her I took the day off work for this appointment. They could have called me when they opened in the morning since my appointment was at noon, or even called the week before to reschedule instead of hoping they would arrive on time. Even when I showed up at 11:55, they could have told me before I sat in the lobby waiting to be called back. Anyway, due to already taking a day off, I cannot take off again this month to reschedule and I work during the week. Since temporary crowns are only designed to last for a short amount of time, I don't see this working out in my favor. It feels like a waste of $2,000 since I may not even be able to complete the work. The icing on the cake is that before I left I was told I would get a call to notify me when we can reschedule. It has been 3 days since this happened and I have yet to receive a call.
