Haircut was great! I remembered seeing their store front at a different location which I thought was better for Ocala. But nevertheless, I went from long shaggy hair to an on-point business professional haircut, and it looks great!
I just came home from my 1st visit to Nick's and my wife took 1 look and almost started crying: "... I've got my handsome husband back!! OMG that looks sooo great!". That pretty much says it all. It's a great little parlor... tricky to find 1st time but call him when you're close. Very talented barbers: not at all rushed and very attentive to details. Very relaxed vibe inside. A valuable resource, too, for what's happening locally in Ocala: Cuz has lived here his entire life...both can tell you the best place to go for [fill in the blank]. GREAT mens haircut. I have straight thick hair with a ton of calyx. Dude is an artist at his craft. Razor fades and beard trims. Places like this are just hard to come by. He takes his time. Don’t expect to walk out quick. Who wants to look like a 10 minute cut anyway??? I know it passes the test when the “boss” (wife) says, “wow that looks really really good”.
I’m not normally wowed by businesses anymore. This place is super cool. A bunch of vintage barbershop stuff. Apparently the family collect antique barber shop stuff. Dudes apparently come in as groups with whiskey and have a fun time playing cards as they get an amazing haircut.
