Designing Women's Hair Salon and Barber

Today was my first visit to Designing Women hair salon. Sofia is a great stylist and cut my hair just the way I like it. She’s also very personable and friendly. She asked what I wanted done and really listened and understood what I wanted, I got a great haircut at a great price. I definitely found my new stylist today!

I was so frustrated that my regular Salon has closed, with no explanation. So I started hunting my area to no avail. By some fluke, I read all the great reviews for Sofia, in Ocala. It took some begging of my husband to drive me 44 miles for a hair cut! But I was not disappointed, she did a really great job, and I was glad we decided to make the trip. I guess sometimes we just have to go the extra mile, or even 44!!!

I am new to the area and decided to go to this salon after reading the reviews for Sofie. She did not disappoint. Absolutely love my color! I went in with a two tone color, and she made it a much more natural look. The salon is clean and I loved the way it was decorated. There are three antique barber chairs in the front, and the hair stations are in the back. She cut my husband's hair first, loved how she prepared him for his cut. Just like I remembered the barbers doing with my dad, years ago, she wrapped his neck with paper, put on the cover, then turned down the paper to make sure no hair got on his clothes.
