“I would give 10 stars to Dr Kern who knows this work in and out, is a total game changer when it comes to back pain. He is the safest chiropractor I know who DOES NOT use the aggressive “back cracking adjustment” which is a reputation for most, specially if you are older or have bone density issues which seems a concern when considering this type of treatment.
It is disgraceful that conventional doctors don’t suggest this approach, instead they recommend pain management meds which are known for their side effects which are the # 1 fall cause (dizziness and poor balance) putting the seniors back into rehabs . A totally self serving industry putting a bandaid instead of effectively addressing the issue in which the patient is the one with the least benefit .
In my experience when I visit Dr Kern regularly, the pain relief is almost on the spot, no amount of massage will help if what is needed is an adjustment.
I believe in the combination of massage and adjustment .

Dr. Kemmerlin is Board Certified in Family Medicine, Eligible in Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine and Interventional Pain Medicine.Dr. Carrier is Board Eligible in Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine.For those of you who know me, Dr. Stein, I've been around the community for 40 years now, love what I do and, frankly, I'm seriously good at it. I am an Osteopathic Physician, Quad Board Certified and I have been teaching Residents, Felows and Students since 1985 when I started what is now NSUKPCOM's NMM+1 Residency Program.Every so often we may get a "bad egg" or a young doctor that may not be tuned in regarding patient or staff rapport. It is certainly very rare (as in the case above - "4 year old review") that the patient leaves so disgruntled as to write a poor review. We do not see reviews prior to them being posted so we cannot discard the bad ones. I rarely ask for reviews because many review companies, post only "cream of the crop" reviews. Businesses have discovered how to filter out bad reviews. It is a shame that the review companies actually support this sort of standard.Meanwhile, our company never saw this 4 year old review until it was far too late to comment. So, I am commenting now.The current doctors at our Hollywood Office have been there less than 4 years.Our other offices have not had only 1 review, let alone a single 1 star review. I really do not even know if the reviewer for this office was for real or truthful and, the attending physician has moved on to become a full time medical school professor.I'm sure the patient was disgruntled and our apologies, of course, go out to him, though we had never heard back from him regarding this particular incident.We would love GOOGLE and other review companies to have a statute of limitations on reviews, but I don't think this exists.I figured that after 4 years, the review was no longer legitimate.Thank you for reading this and not letting one review get in the way of you having a great patient experience.Sincerely,Joel D.
