I went here for the first time to get my hair retwisted and the service was great everyone had great customer service and I love the team work the shop workers have the price wasn’t bad I will be returning thank you to them ladies I have been also getting a lot of compliments on my hair

I’m so happy my friend recommended me to go see him. My hair was weak falling out and had been damaged from bleach. It felt like a brick lifted from my head after I left the salon. Thank you again!

Mel is a MASTER of hair. I cannot tell you enough how much I've struggled with my hair since I hit puberty. As a mixed race woman it's typically an unpleasant experience to find a hairdresser that's actually talented with curly biracial hair. I showed Mel a picture of how my hair was back in 2012 where I had it in a straightened (not chemically relaxed) bob with a little swoop in the front. I was skeptical that she'd be able to copy it, but OH MY GOD I got home and straightened my hair and it's absolutely PERFECT! I was shocked and have decided that I'm going to Mel only from now on. It took 26 years to realize my dad (who has been going to Mel for 25 years) was right, she is the best and I'll now be commuting from Washington, DC to Miami whenever I need a cut!
