The place is cozy, the Dr is very nice and excellent with kids, the options for glasses was amazing. Whatever your looking for they have it there. Pricing was good for the name brands they carry. Pick up was quick and easy
The ratings threw me off. I was greeted by the most wonderful staff and assisted by Alexa with purchasing frames for my father. The doctor was the most generous and caring. Our appointment time was at 2:20, saw the doctor in 20 mins. Was out the by 3pm. Will return to the office again. Loved the service.
I was sorely disappointed when I picked up my glasses yesterday, July 15, 2021 at the Visual Health Center at 16853 NE 2nd Ave. North Miami Beach, FL 33162. The prescription seemed very accurate, but the progressive lens glasses are a mess. The distance part of the lens are from the middle and up, and the progressive part has a small area across for progressing to a reading area and the rest of the lens going down is blurry period. The man selling the glasses adjusted the nose pads to make the glasses sit higher on my face but that made it worse, not better. He also knew when I got my prescription that I had been referred for cataract surgery and said I should get the glasses now anyway. Now he says I have to change my lens after the surgery. No surprise.... He said after I have the surgery just bring a new prescription to him. I said "Nope." Anyway, he refused to understand the problem with the progressive part of the lens, so I gave up. I told it him "it is what it is" and took the faulty glasses and left. I will not go back there.
