“I want to say Dr. Rogers was great with our dog Chloe. He was very kind and gave us antibiotics, but even more importantly HOPE. Our dog was feeling better, and after a week we came in for a follow up. Him and his staff gave us great words of encouragement and advice on what we should do. “If you're in the central to East Broward region and you have your little furry friend that needs help you need to be headed to this hospital. The staff is extremely experienced, usually one or more. Doctors are on duty and they've pretty much seen it all. They will treat and respond to your pet as is if it is their own! If you need competency along with caring and you need help right away, this is where you need to be going! Our pets are no different than any loved member of our family and they deserve the best so wondering where to go should not be an issue. Possibly if your pet doesn't need help right now and you're on with the hospital you might want to stop in check it's convenient location and meet some of the staff so next time something comes up that's really important. You already have your plan in place and you feel confident you're doing the right thing.“

“I haven't actually been to this practice but Dr Lera at Heron Lakes Animal came up on a google search for doctors that do stem cell therapy on dogs. I called the office and made an appointment for a consultation about my old 5 lb yorkie with a heart condition that had torn her acl. She isn't really a good candidate for surgery with anesthesia and being a stem cell patient myself thought this might work for my dog as well. Dr Lera called me himself that evening to explain how stem cell on dogs works and also the cost involved which he agrees is outrageous!! He was kind and understanding and very informative. I appreciated that he was caring and courteous enough to call me that same evening. If circumstances were different, I might have proceeded with the appointment. But he took his time after hours to save me my time and energy to bring my dog in. I would recommend giving this doctor a try.“

Banfield suggested anesthesia/surgery for thousands to remove Penny's TINY growth, where Dr. Silverio addressed it and removed the same day locally. We also had it tested to be sure it wasn't cancer.
