From when we walked in, the service was a delight. The ladies at the counter were friendly and eager to assist. The vet tech was knowledgeable and friendly, and treated our pup well. The vet was well spoken and explained everything we needed while examining the dog. Would highly recommend for others, as we will be making it our regular vet.
Dr Jason called with our pet’s lab results at 5:30 on a Friday evening…to say that we appreciate his dedication and professionalism is an understatement! Thank you! You have cared for our guy so well ❤️
We went to 3 vets for an emergency with our 5 month old kitten that suddenly was is major pain and couldn't walk. You'd think real vets would see you no matter their full schedule rather than send you to an emergency clinic where you pay double or simply not care what happens. I have not had good experiences with our other pets since moving here until today. The people at Bluewater Bay were the kind of people we were hoping find to care for our fur babies. The staff greeted us kindly and with instant compassion for our emergency. They knew what their doing and worked with a commitment to helping in any way possible. I wish all vets made it easier to take care of your animals with reasonable prices in every case but they were equal to or better than some in the cost category. Bluewater Bay Staff answered our prayers and did it with kindness, a normal sense of urgency people expect to see, they were knowledgeable, and did all they could to help us find the next step and eased the pain of our little fur ball. Dr Scott even called the other Vet to make sure they could handle the surgery needed. We were so happy to finally find a Vet here that cares about the fur babies and their human moms/dads and family just as much. Just so thankful for true dedication that should be rewarded. I pray that they all are truly blessed in every way! When it comes to how the other places treated us, I personally dont think any Vet should be in business that refuses to even see an animal where at the very least they can take an xray, quickly diagnose and give the animal compassionate care of pain medicine or whatever will help the animal the best in order buy time for better solutions. Its truly inexcusable. I dont understand the other VETS whose oath is like any doctor to protect life and they take that oath knowing it doesn't come with time clocks or the freedom to say their too busy with checkups/fleas/vaccines rather than help an injured animal in severe pain absent of all dedication to doing what one can when life needs it. I see far too many people in healthcare of people or animals who serve the money and have very little of the true dedication to what it means to have the power to save and help life. Thank God for those special few ones that do!
