Kate is truly exceptional. She specializes in cutting hair for neurodivergent children and kids with sensory processing disorders, and it shows in everything she does. She was incredibly patient, flexible, and loving with our son. She followed his lead completely—cutting his hair while he sat, stood, walked around, or played with toys—never rushing him and never forcing anything.

Her calm presence, kindness, and genuine care made what is usually a stressful experience into a positive one for our entire family. It is rare and deeply meaningful to find professionals who are this inclusive and understanding.

We are so grateful to have found Kate and this salon. I 100% recommend Downtown Hair Lounge to any family, especially those with neurodivergent children.
