Just got back from a trip to French Polynesia where I photographed humpback whales. One of my biggest issues with water days on trips like these is staying protected from the sun. I really don’t like sunscreen and don’t want to put the reefs and animals in danger by subjecting them to the chemicals in it. I got an SPF 50 rash guard from Leigh’s studio before I left and it proved to be a well-worth it purchase! I didn’t get a sun burn at all- which is a huge accomplishment for me. The guard kept me safe from the sun, was lightweight and comfortable and quick to dry so when I got splashed it wasn’t uncomfortable to wear. Leigh is fabulous! She has such a calm gentile spirit. After sitting with us explaining the background and techniques of Shibori, she lead us in the application on silk. We left with stunning pieces we adore. The studio is lovely and eclectic with many artists working on various media. Do treat yourself to a splendid afternoon!

Leigh’s purses are not only pretty but they have both a short and long handle, they have lots of compartments inside, the leather on the outside is smooth and soft and the purse is the perfect travel or evening size. I LOVE mine! Diane L
