“I had to write this after seeing a 1-star review for this company. Joe and his crew build a 2-story detached garage for me when I moved to Pace. I've had dozens of people ask about my garage over the years that I've been here. Joe and his crew were great, and I'd recommend them to family and friends. I was comfortable enough to leave the house unlocked when I wasn't there so that they could use the bathroom if needed. They did a great job and had everything organized and clean at the end of every day. If you have gone thru the process of building a house, you can tell the ones that care compared to the others. I had no issues at all with Joe.He even let me borrow his tractor and box blade while it was still on the property to level the last 1/3 acre of my yard that DR Horton didn't clear so I could sod it.“

“I am currently working to prepare to build a home on a quarter acre I own. The builder I'm going with basically threw EVERYTHING on my shoulders with regards to the prep work, as they are ONLY responsible for the foundation and actual house (they say it keeps their costs down?) But, I digress...I began to call around for quotes for various land clearing companies. Of the few I contacted ( I won't mention names...unless you, the reader, ask nicely), one of them told me..point blank..that they wouldn't touch my lot because it was 'too small.' Talk about a slap in the face. Another company, at least, took the time to go out to my lot and quoted me $7500! Mind you, it's a QUARTER of an ACRE. Not several. Not ONE full acre. A quarter of one. They told me because it was "heavily wooded."SO, after some more looking around I was referred to L & L Construction by a coworker who got me in touch with the owner, a Mr. Doug Lea. Mr. Doug took the time to meet me at my lot and after a quick look-over, gave me a quote that was less than HALF of what the other guy gave me. Within 2 weeks I now have a cleared lot that's ready for the next phase of my plans. Mr Doug even took down a decent-sized oak tree while on site, at no addition cost!Mr. Doug and his team (Nick, Brian and Tim) were all super helpful, courteous and open to my questions and concerns. There are even still some branches in question with the trees on my lot and Mr. Doug has said, come survey time, to call him and he'll swing by to cut them off and haul away if needed. The few days I went up there to check on the progress it was pouring rain and his crew were still there, working through that miserable weather. Doug and his team were a god-send and I'm thankful for their hard work..that was at a reasonable price. I was so impressed with their work that I will be contacting them, down the road, to put in my driveway for my future home.I can't thank this company enough. If you're looking for a family-owned, down-to-earth team of people to get the job done for you...and not try to screw you over in the process, you won't go wrong with L & L Construction Services!“
