Gorilla Truck & Tire saved our Christmas trip to Disney’s Fort Wilderness recently. Our motorhome had a compressor freeze up and it shredded our serpentine belt. We were stranded on the roadside in Tallahassee, Florida on the Saturday of a holiday weekend with Freightliner closed until the day after Christmas. It couldn’t be a worse time to break down. We called everywhere we could to get help and finally someone recommended we call this company. They sent a tech out to help us and that tech worked so hard to find a solution to get us up and running. After trying everything possible to get replacement parts, the owner of the company found a compressor that would fit and at 10:30 that night finally located the serpentine belt we needed for our rig. It had to be driven in from an hour and a half away! At 3:30 the next morning, they were under our rig installing that belt so we could get on the road and on our way. That is unheard of in today’s world. We only missed one night of our trip thanks to these guys. I can’t say enough great things about the owner, his son and the techs who stuck by us all day and far into the evening. It was their holiday weekend too but they took care of us and went above and beyond anything we could’ve imagined. I highly recommend Gorilla Truck & Tire Repair and have made sure all our RVing friends on Facebook and beyond know these are the guys to call if they’re ever in the Tallahassee area and need help. I was very pleased with the professional service I received from this company, owner & employee. From the first telephone conversation, they tried to walk me through the issue I was having with my 44ft trailer lighting. I diligently tried to resolve the issue on my own, but couldn't. I called them back and had them come to my aide. They arrived in a reasonable amount of time, were extremely polite, and professional. They checked everything, fixed the issue, installed a side light, and looked at a couple things I had questions about. The price was fair and reasonable, due to it being 8:00pm. I highly recommend this company! They won't leave you stranded!
