Wasn’t sure what to expect when my coworker Trish invited me. I really enjoyed it. The music was uplifting and light. It was beautiful to look outside the window with the cool breeze drifting in and seeing some lazy horses just doing what they do. It was obvious they were delighted in the day. Norman began talking about a verse in second kings. Never heard a sermon based on the passage he chose. Don’t even think I’ve ever opened to that book of the Bible. I read the verses over and over and just couldn’t figure it out. Then he began to speak about digging ditches and trusting God to fill those ditches with water which they so sorely needed Then he spoke about capacity and how God had filled the water to capacity. He then went on to explain how we need to do the work “digging” our ditch to prepare for God to fill it “to capacity”Digging the ditch with faith and prayer it will be filled to capacity. The bigger the ditch, the more capacity. Anyway, thank you Norman. You were speaking directly to me.
