Had specific instructions to "leave items that were going to be thrown out in a clear plastic bag to the side" this was not followed. Each day that passes I'm realizing that I'm missing more and more of my things!! Valuable items in the that we're not close to being spoiled and recently bought, were thrown out for what reason I have no idea why. Expensive cheeses, caviar tins and items from different countries between the cupboard and fridge were thrown out. Documents and papers were thrown out- I'm a partner at a finance company and had to scramble through old notes due to missing items. I will say the communication between the actually service itself were okay and the cleaning person Hillary was very sweet, but this is truly unacceptable. I was also made to pay an additional 30 minutes for her staying 7min over. Coming from New York- you only pay for the time in and time out.
This review is for people who are looking for a deep clean, who have relatively clean and tidy homes already. I would not recommend. I hate to write a bad review, but since I rely on reviews so much, I understand the importance of them. I am a gay man, in a 4br home with 3 bathrooms. 2200 sq ft. I live alone, with no pets, no carpet, no Knick knacks, new construction, so my home is consistently pretty clean. I was told that cleaning my home would take about 6 hours for one person. Therefore, I hired 2 cleaners to do a deep clean for a total of 8 hours. Before they came, I stripped the beds and washed all the linens. I informed the cleaners when they arrived that the focus should be on getting baseboards, floors, ceiling fans, blinds, interior windows and mirrors thoroughly cleaned. This was not a difficult job. After 6 hours the cleaners were still cleaning the guest bedrooms. After 6 hours, the blinds and ceiling fans had not been touched. Instead of starting in the high trafficked areas like the kitchen, my bedroom or main bathrooms, they wasted a considerable amount of time in the small guest rooms. To sum it up, the cleaners had poor time management, no attention to detail, and no understanding between a deep clean and just straightening up. I think because the house was not a mess, they felt this would be an easy day with little to be done.
*edit: I don't feel like arguing with them below: but it was out of my kindness that I let the damaged shirt issue go but when you charge me a late fee when there's no reason you couldn't have just been let up to the unit then I'm going to expect reimbursement. Moved to 1 star for poor customer service*The first two cleaners were okay, but they don’t pay attention to the clothes they wash and destroyed some articles. I was once charged a late fee and texted several times back and forth then when I mentioned I wanted to be reimbursed for my damaged clothing they suddenly stopped responding.Services: General housekeeping
