I was charged with a crime I did not commit; a 1st degree felony. The charge carried a maximum sentence of 30 yrs in prison. Attorney Lett heard my story and immediately began to devise a winning strategy. I must admit, he knew the law and what possible ways the prosecutor would try to convict me. Up until the day of trial, the prosecutor was still offering me a felony with a long probation term and a hefty fine. Attorney Lett advised me not to take this and continued to select my jury and eventually gave his opening arguments. On the 2nd day of trial, he convinced the prosecutor to throw out the 1st degree felony and give me a misdemeanor, adjudication withheld with 1 year of probation suspended after 6 months. I literally walked out of the court room with everyones jaws wide open in disbelief including the judge! Writing this recommendation does not go far enough to express my gratitude to Attorney Lett.
