Amaizing place staff are wonderful
I’ve been treated here three times for different sports-related injuries and have recovered well thanks to their expertise and attention. I’ve had patellar tendon, hamstring muscle, and calf muscle issues that have been resolved with customized strengthening, ultrasound, and massage treatments. Staff is very welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable.
Lania Garcia, the owner, sets the tone for the place. Purposeful, gentle and caring, every exercise contributes to your successful rehabilitation. Today she gave me a set of home exercises to use until I find a physical therapist at home. She has a very fine staff — two have their doctorates. — and all are bilingual. A typical day starts with a moist heat wrap around a tens unit (electrical stimulation), a series of exercises on the raised mat, a walk outside for gait training, balance work on the stairs, ending with 10 minutes on the stationary bike and finally, 10 minutes of a cold pack. I have been going to Miami Physical Therapy Group for three weeks and both my surgeon and physical therapist are very pleased with my progress, as am I. MPTG. Since October 6, 2018 (23 days postop) I no longer need a cane, due to the profess all care I received at Miami Physical Therapy Group.
