He is the best in his field. Ask any medical doctor where they would send themselves or family member to if they were dealing with melanoma and they all would unanimously say Dr Rabinovitz. And that even happens when you ask people outside of the country. He retired we thought to South Carolina but then returned 6 months later and I got in a few visits with him. In an effort to slow the pace down he is now up in Augusta Georgia but so devoted to his patients in south Florida he will be coming back one Friday per month to take some appointments. If you have a history of malignant melanoma and you live in South Florida, this is the dermatologist to see. I drive 40 miles one way for my doctor's visits. It is worth it. May update- I am sad to report that the Doctor is retiring on July 1st 2019.

Dr. Rabinovitz is an extremely well recognized and highly published, world-renown dermatologist. He helped create the science of dermoscopy (the little hand-held microscopes many dermatologists now use). He is always at the forefront of science and uses the most cutting-edge technology on a daily basis. This includes the full-body photo machine which the previous yelper, Kurt K, so sarcastically blew off. This includes even the large confocal microscope which very few (even cancer centers) own.
