The gym offers classes for people of all ages and fitness levels in a safe and supportive environment. It is comprised of a diverse group of individuals who share a passion for personal growth and development. The trainers, including the highly regarded Professor Michael and Sensei Ace, are knowledgeable and dedicated, making it the perfect place for beginners and those transferring gyms. They ensure that techniques are taught correctly, showing patience and commitment, which enhances the learning experience. The gym also offers open mat hours on Saturdays, where visitors can join in and learn from the instructors. Although the academy has faced some issues with bullying, the students appreciate the amazing teaching and the incredible atmosphere. Overall, Cardoso Jiu Jitsu is a great place to improve physically, mentally, and emotionally, and reach one's potential in life. Anyone visiting the Miami area is encouraged to drop in for a fantastic experience.
