I took our dog to Island Animal Hospital after she experienced her first seizures, and I’m incredibly grateful for the care we received. Despite being new patients, we were seen within hours of calling. Nate, the vet tech, was friendly and attentive, as was Dr. Brady, who delivered the difficult news about our Chloe's brain tumor with compassion, explaining our options and providing medication to help manage her seizures. I was especially touched when she called the next day to check in on our Chloe!! ??
Let me start by saying I have had mostly bad experiences with vets so I rarely take my pets anymore. We took our cat here recently because she stopped eating. They were excellent to work with and were reasonable and worked with us. Unfortunately a few days later test results came back and unfortunately we had to make the very difficult decision to put our cat down. The entire staff was so compassionate, understanding, and kind and made such a painful experience a little bit easier to deal with. I would recommend this place to everyone.
Dr. Megan, Nate and the entire staff incredibly compassionate and informative. Our family is very grateful for the many years of caring for our furry family members. We thank you all.
