I have never felt so comfortable and cared for the way I do at Darnell's salon! She listens to what I want and helps me get just the right haircut style and color,a I never feel pressured, there's never anyone waiting and watching and urging us to finish-she schedules everyone with just the right amount of time that one is able to have the entire salon and her attention all to oneself-and that is particularly important in these days of Covid 19. I am so grateful that I found her when I moved to Merritt Island, for me she's just perfect!

I'm a caucasian female with straight (almost lifeless) hair. Darnell made sure I would be able to put the hair back in a bun- a requirement for my work. She knew just how to capitalize the fact that my hair would be in a bun all day and added layers to give it movement and life. Now after a day of work, I just let my hair down, fluff it out a little, and it looks like I have just gotten a professional blow out. Darnell is truly good at her job and knows how to craft an easy to maintain look that will fit your lifestyle.

Darnell is a small business owner, so it was just the 2 of us, both wearing masks. She, in addition to doing an amazing job on my hair, made sure both of us stayed safe in this Covid 19 environment. You can feel comfortable here! She's personable and easy to talk to. She remembers her regulars and their preferences. She stays up to date on newer styles and procedures. I love Indian River Hair!
