“We hired Cabinets Plus & Design for a major kitchen renovation, moving walls, pulling up old tile floor and starting with a clean slate. We had a rough design of what we wanted, and Ashley worked with us using what we specified as a starting point, then offering several good suggestions to optimize the space and/or to keep costs in line. She spent lots of time with my wife and I on the painstaking choices of cabinet finishes, counter material, tile selection, and other details and always pointing out the little gotcha’s that we would have otherwise overlooked. Roger came to the house to scope out the demolition/construction, and then followed up with on-site visits as the work progressed, always making sure that work was done to our liking, crews were cleaning up at the end of the work days, etc. Stephanie was always staying in touch with us on scheduling to make sure work was progressing as it should. Every crew that came in was friendly and very professional, and all had been working with Roger for many years which says a lot about a company. From our first visit, we were confident that they would meet our expectations on the job and on budget. “We were very pleased working with Ocean Carpet. It’s a family business and it shows. We had assistance in selecting the right flooring and carpet and they showed patience as we waffled through the selection process. When our first choice bumped us off our budget, they found great options to get us back where we needed to be. There was a hiccup when the shipping company damaged a couple boxes of flooring but Brent’s good relationship with his supplier resulted in a quick search to find additional boxes and we now have a beautiful new floor. I’ve been skeptical about lvp in general but it turns out, I really love it. It’s a great option for a home near the beach where you’d like the look of wood without the upkeep.
