Went there for severe pain in my abdomen, back and under my chest plate. I could barely stand. I was waiting for about a half hour before being taken to the consult room and the lady didn't even ask for my history. While waiting, a woman came in with obvious severe pain and it was clear she needed help immediately. But like the rest of us, she didn't get it. Not until she collapsed and began seizing. The doctors or nurses who tended to her, in front of all of us, were cold to her. Speaking to her in stern, bossy, tones. This poor woman was terrified, in pain, and struggling to breathe- most likely due to the pain she was having and the fear she felt from it. They just kept telling her "get up" "get up". I wanted to get out of the wheelchair I was sitting in and go help her myself, because I know what intense pain mixed with fear and anxiety, feels like. But I couldn't. I was in pain clutching my chest myself. The fact that doctors and nurses speak so coldly and sternly to people in terrified and painful states is so sad and enraging. We are human beings seeking care from people who we are supposed to trust to take care of us, being treated like a nuisance or a burden only makes things worse. Anyways, I then waited another 15 minutes to be taken to a room after the consult room where the lady didn't ask for my medical history. And then waited another 10 minutes to speak to a doctor. All in all, waited an hour just to be spoken to by a doctor. Pretty crazy for an ER. I have a vast medical history so the fact they didn't ask for it and when I mentioned things on my own they didn't even put it in my chart or file, they just said hm ok or nothing at all. On the plus side, their radiologists and radiology nurses/techs are kind. I liked them. I met 4 of them for X rays and a CT, they all spoke to me kindly, and treated me well with patience and compassion. I'm very appreciative of them for that. Unfortunately they couldn't figure out what was wrong with me though.

A great hospital to go to have your medical needs met. Clinically outstanding. But the staff also shows a real compassion for their patients. A quick overnight procedure ended up being a day or two more but it was worth it knowing that I wasn't being moved just to save a bed, they are very good there. Dietary was good. You don't hear that very often but it's true.

Talked to officer Zayed about my phone being log lost... She was the first person that told me how to file a report and what days to file it. No one else told me this and I was there for a week give her a BIGGG Raise
