With so many estimates you really get to see which companies want to take advantage of you and which ones offer a fair price for the work. “2023: Mike, the business owner of Dad's Electric, brought our 1982 panel up to code and did a remarkable job so.Before we found Dad's Electric, we vetted a few other companies. Granted, the other companies were a little less expensive, but according a spectactular referral we received from a friend and the first interaction on the phone with Dad's, we knew that this was going to be a 'get what you pay for' situation.We found out that our old breakers were just itching to burn our house down, that even the person who installed it then did so incorrectly. Mike also identified and removed several wiring errors as well as a timer attached to our hot water tank that was a fire hazard when he arrived to do the install, even though these things were not on the agenda.The company is headquartered in Palm Bay. They are willing to travel, as our home is in Marion County. Mike spoke with us over the phone on several occasions, requesting photos and other pertinent information in preparation for the job.Mike arrived at our home early within the schedule provided. He completed the job in a reasonable time frame, yet it wasn't rushed; the meticulous effort Mike put into the installation was notable. This should be something every company strives for.We are beyond impressed and pleased with the work completed by Dad's Electric Company. Mike is professional, knowledgeable (I believe he said has over 17 years of experience in the industry), and truly takes the time to explain everything he is doing to the customer, answering any questions that may arise.
