2 stars because I did benefit from seeing her, but very strange vibes from this counselor. First she brings her dog to every session and is often more worried about the dog than her job and her patient. Very unprofessional. She gets hung up on little things where it's not that she doesn't have a point, it's just she so thoroughly drills it into the ground to the point of obsession. For example she will not allow you to use the word "try." I get the point, we should plan to make changes in our lives rather than just saying we will try something. She doesn't need to harp on that for several minutes of every session. We as patients are also there to receive therapy, not to hear 10 minute stories about her lake house.

This was an excellent experience for me. She is an excellent listener and her ability to help me understand, face and overcome the issues I was having were beyond reproach. I can not recommend her enough.

Even tho it's been a few weeks, I feel compelled to warn others of the very negative experience we had here. There were 2 major points I feel are worth mentioning.1. She spent a huge portion of the session telling us about her pets and lake house. We did not get around to much real work and I found the whole situation unprofessional and unproductive.2. I was majorly insulted on many levels when, after meeting us for less than an hour, she told me and my husband that we should consider being parents to only 'furry babies' aka pets.
