Why do I love Kingsmeade? Because I can sleep at night knowing that my horse is getting amazing care. Clair and her staff do not cut corners. Horses get dependably fed, turned out, shod, medicated, ridden and groomed as requested and needed. Stalls are cleaned and generously bedded. Clair knows the horses legs, feet, appetites, coats, conditions, energy levels and the looks in their eyes. Their care is top notch. As far as training, Clair encourages her riders, collaborates on fun shared goals, focuses on the positives all while protecting the horses and recognizing that they are not disposable! Their fees are fair and transparent. They communicate - your horse felt great today, look at him sleeping in his stall, we arrived at the horse show, where are you?!? - 15 trips til your class starts...!! While I have had many wonderful barn, riding and showing experiences before coming to KMF, I am inordinately grateful to Clair, Charlie and Tavo along with all the staff at KMF for the past almost 2 years! Here's to many more!
