I've always been a yoga girl, but I came to my first reformer pilates class and loved it! The workout was fun and proved to be challenging. The instructor kept the energy up and gave a lot of encouragement to work through each exercise. I really appreciate that she didn't just demonstrate or give directions, but she actively observed in order to offer corrections and adjustments. I think this form of pilates is a great addition to my exercise routine and can even complement my yoga practice. It's a combination of flexibility and strength training, and I felt amazing after class!
