I am visiting for the summer and went to multiple salons before I decided on Sophia's. The location is super clean and inviting. I am extremely happy with how my nails came out. The dip is thin and looks very natural. I highly recommend this salon.

Miller's Air Conditioning in Lake Placid FL is awesome. I had a difficult problem to diagnose. They were relentless is working to find the problem. They came to my home 4 times. My technician Greg really cared about getting it fixed. He didn't act like it was just a job .He was here last evening for a couple hours and today it appears the problem is fixed . I was treated very well and I appreciate it. They were be my go to company from here on.

These guys are just honest, friendly and most of all talented barbers. They're both really good barbers and although they're great with adults I've seen them do awesome with kids. My son went there first and he's pretty picky about who cuts his hair!

I know the owner of the business and he is a great guy. His crew and him they het the job done with no messing around but then after the job is done they are a good group of guys that you could set down with and have some good conversations. Great company any tree trimming or total removal just give them a call and make sure you tell them Tommy referred you. Nah I'm just kidding about the referral but any tree work or stump grinding the whole 9. 5 stars

When my wife Mary Pat was terminally ill, I retained L-N-S to help with her care. I was very pleased with the performance of the company. The caregivers were kind, knowledgeable and efficient. it was a very difficult time that was made more bearable by L-N-S. Based on our experience I would highly recommend L-N-S.
This small salon, tucked back off main street in downtown Lake Placid, is a real find. This shop with just three stations has very friendly staff, is always clean and whenever I go it's like visiting a friend's home.
Stylist: Steph is great! She has been doing my hair for at least 6 months and I have never had anything but an exceptional cut. I highly recommend her.

I worked for David and Susan Rhodes way back in 2001-2002. They were some of THE BEST bosses ever, hands down. I've been able to count on them for notary services, just walking in. I'm hoping they're both retired now and grandparents. 5 star bosses.

My ONLY reservation in recommending Nick and his team is that he will get even busier and less available. If he does, its definitely worth the wait! #NickGetsItDone is a company that lives up to its name. I have used them for years both at home and in my company's offices and in all cases, I have been 110% satisfied. Nick has done interior and exterior (whole house) painting, fence repairs and gate replacement, replaced all exterior door hardware on our home, replaced exterior doors, sealed our paver driveway and more. Another project is scheduled soon. In addition to excellent quality work, Nick's customer satisfaction and clear communication are tops as well. I often find that before work begins, we have "task analysis" discussions... I share my goals and Nick contributes his years of expertise to define expected results and then, Nick Get's It Done! All of this at prices that I consider more than fair for Nick's quality work.

TWQ is great ! I had a sprinkler system and St.Augustine sod put in my mobile home lot ! I also had 4 box crepes bushes planted. I have my yard fertilized and treated for pests every other month . Everyone says I have the best lawn at Buttonwood Bay !

My first time needing a plumber since moving to Lake Placid over 4 years ago and I am happy to have had the card for CS Waterworks tucked away for just such an occasion. It was a small job, but it was handled neatly and efficiently with great communication. A pleasure to speak with Rea via phone and Burt the technician was a delight, personable, polite, and efficient. While I hope to not need a plumber again soon, I do know who I will call when I do!

Was a walk in. They seated me right away. Didn't get his name, but a young gentleman did my pedicure. He did a fantastic job! I will ask for him again. Very reasonably priced, too.
I just moved here from out of state, and I needed to have my 14 year old kitty euthanized. I’m very grateful they were able to let me bring her in on a Friday afternoon with just a few hours notice.
I appreciate the end of life exam, so that I know I made the right decision for her. They vet and the vet tech were very compassionate with my girl. They let me have as much time as I needed to say goodbye.
The front office staff was not impressive. They were competent, but came across apathetic. With exception to whoever it was I made the appointment with over the phone. She was kind.
Update: I brought another cat of mine to have his dental done. The doctor was very thorough with explaining to me how it would go, and happily answered my questions. My cat seems like he’s recovering just fine. I love that I didn’t have to book an appointment three weeks away. And I am also happy with the cost of services. I couldn’t afford my cat’s teeth extractions where I lived before.
