I visited this salon because my usual salon is about 30 mins away and I was on a time crunch. This was the closest salon to where I live. After my experience, and the quality of the nails, I think I found my new regular salon!! V did an amazing job on my nails! She has such great attention to detail and asked for my opinion on each step of the fill. My nails are very short (which I need for my job), and the reference picture I showed her had very long nails. She was very honest and said that my nails were too short to have that specific shape. I really appreciate her honesty! A lot of other nail technicians will say they can do a nail style, and end up getting it a bit wrong. I love the rounded/almond shape. However, because I have to have my nails short, they usually end up looking very pointy (like dragon nails). V was able to create a beautiful, professional, natural look! This has been my favorite shape ever done on my nails by a nail tech! Also, the quality of the products they use are great! It's been about 2 weeks since my appointment, and my nails have held up very well! Absolutely no chips or acrylic pulling off! (I am pretty hard on my nails, and sometimes the acrylic start lifting up after 2-3 weeks). Also, the gel polish they use is very hard, and doesn't cure squishy like some salons.

Each time I have been here to get my nails done, SNS powder and gel polish $61 every two weeks , I have been pleased with the results. However, the wait-time is unreasonable. I assume that because they don't have sufficient clientele to support more techs, I've had to wait for the one or two techs to finish a previous client which can be upwards of 30 minutes. On my last (and I do mean my LAST) visit, the man I've seen frequently doing nails and who I assume is the owner, and arrived and did absolutely NOTHING but stand around while two of us waited to get service. He finally gave in, and I was the unfortunate one who drew the short straw and suffered through his insulting behavior as he did my nails. He spoke in a demeaning manner and tone of voice as if I were a child. Meanwhile, his own 3-4 year old child ran amok throughout the shop. I am 73 years old and have been getting my nails done for 40 years. NEVER have I been treated so insultingly. And I'm going to pay for those insults? Nope!

I love this salon. It was the first one I ever went to, and my daughter and i are "regulars" now. I went to another local salon on a whim for a full set of acrylics, but didn't like how they turned out. I walked into Sparkle nails, and had zero wait time. He shortened them and rounded them for me and they look perfect now. I'll always go to Sparkle nails. They are friendly and attentive!
