I knew my general idea of what I wanted, my timeline, my budget, and I wanted someone who could coordinate landscape, hardscape, irrigation, labor, sod, etc so I didn't have to play GC. GreenMasters (and sister company PaverMasters) were the only ones who could meet all the needs that I had (especially timeline - they carry their own inventory and weren't beholden to paver suppliers!). They had great ideas, helped me finalize a plan, communicated often, accommodated changes that I wanted to make mid-project, and were always professional. You might think you want a company that has a flashy website or a software-designed landscape plan, but what you really want is someone who will actually listen to you, shoot straight, and pour all of their energy and attention into making your plans a reality.
