Natalie consulted with me, discussed my hair and what I was looking for. She is so knowledgeable and friendly. I was especially impressed with her confidence. She assessed my hair and gave me an amazing hairstyle! The overall experience was sweet perfection! Natalie does an awesome pixie cut and gave me exactly what I was hoping for! Ladies, you made my day! I will definitely see you again!“

So, my nail journey has been quite the adventure! ? In January 2025, I embarked on a bi-weekly mani-pedi mission. ✨ But things got a little… *interesting*. ? Every week, I was losing 2 or more nails before even getting a fill and color change! ? I initially blamed myself, ?‍♀️ sticking with the same salon for months. Each replacement nail cost me $10 (plus a tip, of course! ?). After FIVE months of this nail drama, ? I knew something was up. It wasn't me! ?

I went on a quest for a new nail tech, asking everyone for recommendations. ? Jill Williams sent me a PM about Dan, and OMG, I'm SO glad she did! ? I booked an appointment, and Dan has been my nail guru ever since – even with walk-ins! ?

Only TWICE have I broken a nail since then, and both times were totally my fault! ? I confessed to Dan (even though he probably knew already – his work is THAT amazing! ?). He fixed them BOTH TIMES and REFUSED to charge me! ? Who does that?! Especially when the customer admits they messed up?!

I just HAD to share this incredible experience. I'll be a loyal LA Nails (Branford Crossing) customer FOREVER! ??? Go see Dan – you won't regret it! ??? Highly recommend! ???

“I got my nails done today and the lady did a great job on them except for when she put the oil on them after the final finish and had me wash my hands, the top coat came off one of my nails and I didn't notice it until after I had already left the parking lot. They look amazing. I always have alcohol put on my nails after the final finish so that they are completely dry and I never wash my hands afterwards. And on top of that, I was charged $45.00 for a color change and a thin acrylic fill in. At LA nails, for both of those, I was only charged $15.00 on 3 occasions. Seriously.“

“I have been to Lee nails in the mall a couple of times and the employees are pretty nice with fair prices. However my recent visit as with the last there weren’t any customers inside and it was 30 minutes until closing. I wanted my nails painted to look like French nails….my real nails not acrylics. So it only takes usually 15 minutes or less to them. The employee that decided to do my nails did not want to paint them like I wanted and I felt like I was pressured into getting them “painted” a solid color which I do not do my nails that way. To each his or her own. The woman that painted them did a terrible job that I could have done at home and they would look better. I got them in white and she chose just flat matte white. I am very disappointed and will not be returning. They also acted like they didn’t want to wait on me even though as I said there were no other customers in the salon. They also were speaking to each other as they all do in their language and about me. That was made obvious. It was just not a good experience for me at all. The last times I went in I didn’t have that problem and the man was nice and courteous and didn’t mind doing what “I”the customer wanted. I mean since I’m paying for them and it’s my nails that I have to look at I should be able to get what I want. Had it of been a different attendant with more knowledge and better service I would have given them more stars from my previous experience. But I will not make the mistake of returning to pay for something I don’t want again. *I will update my review to add that all my other visits here were great and they have always done a great job, just this one visit wasn’t that great of an experience in getting what I wanted.“
