I moved back to Florida early this year and have spent every month since trying to find my new hair stylist, nail tech, lash artist, etc... If you've ever relocated then you know how hard it can be to find new professionals when you've been going to the same ones for 5+ years. I don't even live in Lake City, but I was SO impressed with Allison (waxing) and Brooke (lashes) that I am now a regular client. They both are great to talk to, play great music, are so welcoming, and most importantly, they are both experts at what they do. My waxing was painless (and boy had my hair grown out over the months lol). My lashes fit me so well and are so freaking classy and natural looking that when I was getting my hair done two weeks later the stylist asked if my lashes were mine. She had never gotten her lashes done before because she keeps seeing those thick, dark lashes but she said mine inspired her to give it a try because they look so natural. Brooke talked with me about my hopes and fears and she did what she thought worked best for me. I love trusting professionals to do their thing!!! I'm so happy I don't have to search around anymore! woo hoo

I love this salon. They are very good at hair so it takes some effort to get in. Nick did my hair for years and is an artist. He can make even dry hair look beautiful after treating it with some amazing conditioning treatments.Tylore also is amazing at hair and I love the way she did my hair today. I have been to a lot of hair salons. But never one like this she us truly blessed at what she does. The hair care products are the best I put the Bing Bing oil on my dry itchy scale due to dandruff and it worked extremely well 2 minutes late no more itching and that was hours ago. My daughter loved her hair and the conversations with her. And the fact that she asked her what she wanted and was she ok with each braid. Truly amazing. We both now have a new hair stylist. I’m new to lake city. I posted in one of the local groups looking for a non-chained barbershop, and somebody commented one of the barbers named Tra. Come to find out he actually reached out and messaged me direct and the rest was history I met up with him the next day at the barbershop and he took real good care of me. Definitely got a new customer, I’ll be back. great atmosphere inside the barbershop really wholesome and family friendly.
His wife cuts my hair and gives me the best cut I've found anywhere. I'm sure these two are the best in Lake City!
Mr. James gave my 3yo his first big boy haircut. He was so good with him anytime someone complements the cut he says Mr James. I would recommend James to anyone. He definitely made us feel welcome.

I’ve been going to Alli at House of Fades for over a year now and I never plan to have anyone cut my hair. Alli cuts the best fade I’ve ever had consistently. Her beard work is solid as well. Strongly recommend!

To me N&K Nails is the BEST. They always do a great mani/pedi...the BEST in Lake City and I've tried many of the others. It's always very clean and everyone's so kind.

I have been to Lee nails in the mall a couple of times and the employees are pretty nice with fair prices. However my recent visit as with the last there weren’t any customers inside and it was 30 minutes until closing. I wanted my nails painted to look like French nails….my real nails not acrylics. So it only takes usually 15 minutes or less to them. The employee that decided to do my nails did not want to paint them like I wanted and I felt like I was pressured into getting them “painted” a solid color which I do not do my nails that way. To each his or her own. The woman that painted them did a terrible job that I could have done at home and they would look better. I got them in white and she chose just flat matte white. I am very disappointed and will not be returning. They also acted like they didn’t want to wait on me even though as I said there were no other customers in the salon. They also were speaking to each other as they all do in their language and about me. That was made obvious. It was just not a good experience for me at all. The last times I went in I didn’t have that problem and the man was nice and courteous and didn’t mind doing what “I”the customer wanted. I mean since I’m paying for them and it’s my nails that I have to look at I should be able to get what I want. Had it of been a different attendant with more knowledge and better service I would have given them more stars from my previous experience. But I will not make the mistake of returning to pay for something I don’t want again. *I will update my review to add that all my other visits here were great and they have always done a great job, just this one visit wasn’t that great of an experience in getting what I wanted.

These are great people to come and feel like family with at this hair salon .I meet them though Mrs.Auguston she has been with Mrs.Dennis for many,many years and when I take her there they makes me feel very welcome I will recommend this salon to anyone. All the staff is great people.
This place is relatively small which I like quite a bit. My stylist was great! I felt comfortable. I do wish they would dust. There are layers of dust on the outlets and many decorative items are black. It was distracting.

Lake City is very expensive for hair care services compared to where I used to live in the Fernandina Beach area. You would think that area would be more expensive than here being a resort area.
I have paid $50+ more for my hair care both times so far in Lake City than I did before for the same services in Nassau County/ Fernandina before moving here. I don’t get it.
Stylist: Nicole did a wonderful job with my color and highlights. I recommend her highly.
Keri provided an exceptional spray tan experience. She was personable, maintained a private and comfortable environment, and created a positive atmosphere throughout the session. The results were flawless—no orange tones, harsh lines, or issues with my palms. The tanning solution left my skin feeling smooth and hydrated, not dry, and I particularly appreciated the subtle Caribbean scent, which was far more pleasant than the typical spray tan odor. This is easily the best spray tan I’ve ever had, and to my surprise, it has held up beautifully even after multiple days in the hot tub. The value for the service is unbeatable, and I’ll certainly be returning to Keri in the future. Thank you!

Jenn gave my 18 yr old son the best haircut he’s had in years. Not too short on top and cleaned up on the sides. It looked like a styled cut and the blends were excellent. I ended up taking my other son to her who has extremely thick and difficult to work with hair and she nailed his cut as well. She’s a great listener and very in touch with the current styles the kids are wearing their hair these days. We will definitely be her new regular customers :) thanks Jenn!
Love this place! Came in today for my pedicure after a few months of not having one and they did NOT disappoint! Every experience here is a great one. They take the time to make sure I leave feeling pampered every visit. And my nails/toes always look great! Also the staff is very friendly. I had Holly install a generator plug in and interlock kit in my house. This included moving breakers from the outside disconnect to the inside breaker box also adding several double breakers. The job was done professionally and timely with all wiring run internal of the walls. I was very happy with their work and will contact them again for any electrical needs.
My Mom recommended to come here after getting a 2005 Honda and needing to have a couple of keys and fobs made for her. The gentleman was very polite and was able to take the keys we had to cut them and program the fobs we had bought with the keys for the car. He had no issues at all. Everything works perfectly. I would definitely recommend this locksmith shop and will go back if I ever need anything again.

Overall had a pretty good experience with Paragon. We had signed our contract last February and hopes that we had have everything finished by the summer sadly that didn’t happen. There were some hiccups on the way which I was very understanding of the only reason I docked a star is because of Emiliano. Emiliano is a pompous jerk and he almost lost them our contract because of his attitude. The first time we were set to dig to get ready for the pool, Emiliano had everything set up and then we found out all too late that we didn’t have a permit and totally extenuating circumstances around that. Then a couple months later, Emiliano tells us we’re ready to dig again and get started and I inquired if we actually had a permit this time around and it turns out we didn’t Emiliano did not seem to understand why we were upset that he put the cart in front of the horse not once but twice. Once is understandable But doing the same thing again he couldn’t seem to comprehend why we were frustrated and instead of trying to make his wrong right he decided to get pissy and tell us he would just refund our money which made us feel like very unvalued customers when we were giving them $100,000 of our hard earned money. All of the construction guys were absolutely amazing. We even ended up having a freak accident where one of our pipes underneath the sun shelf burst, and they made sure to get everything fixed in a timely manner (after I quit trying to communicate with Emiliano and went straight to Dylan. Once again, we can see the common factor in the issue trying to deal with Emiliano was like trying to talk to a fence post. He did not seem to understand that there was obviously something wrong). Dylan and his guys are great! I highly recommend this company, especially if you can avoid dealing with Emiliano
We initially hired Mr Richardson to screen in a covered patio on the front of our home. We wanted a darker screen so Vince recommended a solar screen which we're very pleased with. Richardson's work is top notch and we were so satisfied we asked him to come back, install gutters, and screen in a 2nd patio in the back. Vince, Andi and Colton run their family business with kindness, professionalism, hard work and fair prices. We highly recommend!

They do a great cleaning and fixing a cavity by removing the crown, fixing the cavity, build up and new crown.

The receptionist is helpful. Dr. Mathis explains to educate and is honest. He willingly shares his background and encourages. Gentle yet thorough. He is efficient with assistance to get to everyone in a timely fashion, so organized. One of the only orthopedic chiropractors that I could find.
They came highly recommended and we are not disappointed. The facility is clean and inviting. The entire staff is amazing; they are attentive and fully answer all of our questions. The service fees and medication costs are appropriate for the times. They always make time for us when an emergent need is raised. Our dog is apprehensive around strangers but she loves going for appointments there. She's the first one in our when we tell her we're going and the first out of our car and to their front door when we get there.

I had a bad experience with one vet here. And was very upset. But I came in and spoke with Dr. Alexander who was extremely supportive and agree'd with the hospitals assessment of what was going on.I needed to get a lot of medicine for my dog and needed it now. Stormy the most awesome Vet Tech ever was so good about making sure I got what I needed and even called while I was at the pharmacy to make sure it went well. Then I came in today in fact and saw Dr. Leslie who is super cool, very understanding and patient with my husbands and mines questions. She let us watch the ultrasound and showed us what was what. We got some good news. And that was a relief. Would I recommend them? Yes. They do care.
My little girl Angel loves visiting Shanda and her staff at A Groom Above. She is so happy when we arrive to Shanda's place, and she always looks and smells great when I pick her up. She loves to show off her little bandana too!
I love this place! The only service we get is nail trimming, and they do a great job. They have never nicked the quick. All i have to do usually is call ahead, and they get us right in and out. They always cater to me and my fur baby by making sure there are no other dogs around when we enter and exit because my girl is very anxious and aggressive around other dogs. They know their stuff and seem to genuinely love dogs. I have tried all other places in L.C. and Pet Spot is the only place I will take Daisy.
We’ve been going here for a while. We have a golden retriever and a Great Pyrenees — our dogs are BIG and have lots of hair. They’re always friendly, reasonably priced and do an amazing job. They put little bandanas on our girls. They always come back to us happy. I would recommend them to anyone.
My therapist Kat is wonderful. She has a solid routine that covers all the bases. She does a great job reliving my lower back and hip pain. She also does a phenomenal job on the legs for hamstring and Quadriceps that I have never experienced before. Kat is a very calm and patient person that has a fantastic work ethic. She provides a great value and you will leave relaxed and loose as a goose.
