We board our Golden Retriever, Sophie there regularly. She can't wait to get in the door! That means she loves being there and knows she's going to get lots of loving :) The staff really love the "fur babies" and treat them like their own.

I brought my dog Scruffy to this establishment for boarding June 28th- 29th. The staff was knowledgable and attentive. During Scruffys stay he threw up the first visit and I think it was due to him being around so many dogs. I don't believe it was from the facility per se. I think all the excitement got the best of him. This facility does not walk dogs BTW. After inquiring, I learned they separate the dogs by size and temperament and let them play together outdoors. This is a nice change of pace, as other places that we have boarded him at, either have no place to run or are walked in the local neighborhood briefly. We just picked up our 4 medium size dogs from a 6 night stay in the boarding department of Village Pet Spa. Our dogs also go there for grooming. We are so happy with the care that they receive while they are there. On day 2 of our trip, we got a call from Christy, the manager, just letting us know that one of the dogs was having some stomach issues and she said that they would feed them chicken and rice for the next few meals until their stomach issues subsided. She also called the next day with an update. We feel our dogs are in the best care there and they think of everything... even the bandannas that the dogs had around their collars, were washed and dried right before... read full review
