“I saw Dr. Kerina because I was having right knee and right hip pain. A friend of mine had a similar problem and Dr Kerina did wonders for him. During my initial visit, Dr. Kerina felt that my hip was more of a problem than my knee and suggested that if he replaced the hip that possibly the knee pain would get better. No guarantees. I will admit that I was skeptical but decided to follow his recommendation. I had my hip replacement on Aug. 18, 2023 and six weeks later I was once again playing golf. And, yes my knee pain has significantly decreased. I also noted that my low-back pain that bothered me for years had also subsided. From start to finish everything went smoothly. The pre-op and post -op nursing staff was terrific. I arrived at the TLC surgical center at 9:30 am and I was home at 5:30pm that same day. That evening, a nurse arrived at my home to check my vital signs and begin physical therapy. Three times a week a nurse or physical therapist came to my home to check the incisional site and supervise the physical therapy. I completed outpatient physical therapy at the Unova facility located on Rolling Acers Road. The entire staff was outstanding and familiar with Dr Kerina's physical therapy protocol.Bottom line. If I require any additional surgery involving my knees or hip, Dr. Kerina will be the surgeon I will go to.“
