Highly recommend. I just left Shewmaker Animal Hospital on a Saturday and was very impressed. It was my first time seeing Dr. Shewmaker Jr. I was a regular client of his late father's. I found him to be very honest and ethical. He puts the animals' welfare first. He doesn't recommend unnecessary tests or anything like that.
Taylor is an outstanding Veterinary Tech. She has a way with animals that makes them feel calm. She also explains things very well clearly. You can tell her compassion for animals is real. It's not just a job for her.

They did a really good job. Only complaint I have is they freaked my dog out when they were holding him still for everything, and would not let me or my husband help keep him calm. That in turn scared our dog, but they were very friendly and knowledgeable.
We use this vet for all our horses and puppies !
Doc never turned anything our ranch brought him and I’m thankful his family embraces us the same !
