Very special, beautiful gardens. Incredibly well maintained. Interesting history. Friendly staff. Tons of lizards everywhere! Incredible views of the water. Fascinating plant species. FREE! Little gift shop inside & bathrooms. Probably nicer in cooler months of the year as many things were very dry.
Nice place to visit. Would recommend a stop here if you’re visiting Key West.
Loved this spot. Free (but please consider donating!), an impressive collection of orchids (literally worth thousands. Highly recommend actually looking closer. Some truly rare types in the collection). There’s public clean restrooms, the archway in the entrance is beautiful, the butterfly garden and succulent section are both great. Whole thing will take 15mins-1 hour to see depending on how much you like plants :). Great pit stop in between plans.
We were just walking by and found this place and it was so good that we would have missed exploring this. The garden has some beautiful trees and flowers and it is well maintained. The admission is free so if you are nearby try exploring it and believe me you will like it. It has some scenic views of the beach too.
