“I enjoyed a terrific experience at Salty Roots on Monday. Ample parking and the salon is beautiful. Calm and bright decor. Huge window looking out on many boats bobbing in their slips. Elise was my stylist for a root touch up and cut. After evaluating my hair Elise chose two colors for my roots. Elise listened to my desires for the short hairstyle I wear and delivered a perfect scissored cut. Lovely salon with expert stylist.“
“I went in for the first time yesterday for a haircut appointment with Jodi. I think it had been at least four months since my last cut and I was looking like a caveman. Jodi recommended a cut slightly different than I requested and whether she wanted me to cut it in because she could always cut it out. I said sure, go for it, because she promised the cut would work look better for the shape of my head. I’m so glad I took her suggestion and Jodi will be cutting my hair going forward. I like that she took the time to make a professional recommendation and also provided an out if I didn’t like it. I didn’t just like it, I love it. I decided I wanted my eyebrows waxed and asked if they do them. Jodi says they/she does, however, her coworker Theo is the best. I appreciate it when someone says they’re great at something, however recommend someone else who they think is the best, even if that means they miss out on the revenue and tip themselves. I usually hate getting my brows waxed, but again, I was looking like a caveman. Theo did an excellent job and the whole process was without any pain or even discomfort. Jodi and Theo made me look so good — in less than 45 minutes total — that I’ve been inspired to go back before I end up looking like a caveman again. I highly recommend Jodi and Theo, as well as this nice and clean salon.“

“Hot Cuts has moved to K&C Stylists 1509 Josephine St. I called and was set for an appointment in less then a week. Belinda was my stylist and dud an excellent job. My hair was damaged by the sun and she gave me a complimentary treatment to restore my hair to a beautiful condition, soft and full. The haircut and blow dry was beyond any expectations. Belinda is an outstanding and professional cosmetologist. The salon is clean and free of harsh product odors. Beautifully decorated and spacious. I highly recommend Belinda and this salon.“

“Took my mom here for a 60 min massage. The space is small but very charming and smells wonderful. We were greeted with a mimosa and after our massage we were lead to a sauna with a glass of water. 10/10 Recommend.“
