This was my first time visiting this ER when my dog had an eye injury over a weekend. I had a bad experience at another nearby facility and wanted something different. The staff was great. Very kind and professional. One big issue for me was when we were in a room and an actual emergency came in, I was kept updated on the wait. Understanding that this is an ER and everything is based on priority, it makes a big difference when the staff takes the time to let you know they didn't forget you and another doctor would be coming in. A simple thing but it doesn't happen everywhere.
I am blown away by the honesty and care at this place. I brought my dog in late on a Sunday night after she had been choking and wheezing for 30 minutes. They immediately took her in and monitored her. It turned out to be just a hairball, and to my surprise, they didn’t charge me anything and advised me on follow up visit with my regular vet. She didn’t need any treatment or medication, and now she’s happily running around again. The entire experience was amazing.
The team at MedVet were knowledgeable and compassionate. They took the time to understand my sugar glider’s needs and worked on a treatment plan that accommodated his age and my comfortability. I really appreciated their enthusiasm and eagerness to help my little man. I think the photo below sums up the experience!
